Christine

Christine is a horror film directed by John Carpenter, the filmmaker behind Halloween, The Fog and Escape from New York. It adapts the horror novel by Stephen King published in 1983. The story follows Arnie, a bullied high school student who restores a 1958 Plymouth Fury that becomes a killer vehicle. The film combines a satire of American car fetishism with well-noted special effects.
