Fangs on Furs

Fangs on Fur (FOF) was founded in 2006 in Hollywood, California, by F-Girl and F-Boy, and has since established itself as a fixed presence on the post-punk scene. The self-titled debut album received great acclaim and was nominated and awarded Album of the Year by two leading scene publications. Over the years, numerous musicians have performed with Fangs on Fur, many of whom have also played with bands such as Christian Death, UK Subs, Original Sinners, Street Trash, The Leaving Trains, Chinatown and XXX. The band's distinctive sound combines guitar tones inspired by spaghetti westerns with driving, tribal-tinged rhythms. Over this lie the intense vocals of F-Girl, marked by fear and passion, which give the whole a powerful and unique atmosphere. Although Fangs on Fur draws on influences from the post-punk era of the 1980s, the band consistently preserves its own identity. Its music invites listeners to reconnect with their original instincts and to explore new sonic paths together. The long-awaited album “FOF” was enthusiastically received at its pre-release at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig and sold out within minutes. Due to high demand, a second pressing had to be produced quickly. Since then, the band has toured Europe several times and shared the stage with renowned acts such as Killing Joke, Rubella Ballet, Theatre of Hate, Specimen, TSOL and The HorrorPops. With the release of its current album “Digital Witchcraft”, Fangs on Fur continues its path with determination. The band impresses with raw energy, a rebellious attitude and a captivating stage presence that draws the audience under its spell.
