Grenzkontroll

Grenzkontrolle is a four-piece band from Cologne, Germany. They work in post-punk, between political art and cultural collage, drawing mainly on the attitude of late 1970s and early 1980s post-punk rather than on its sound. Singer Don L. Gaspár Ali is joined by drummer Roza Roth, guitarist Kodia Funk and bassist Schuttland. Their EP PIRATEN pays tribute to the Edelweißpiraten, a Cologne resistance group during the Nazi era.
