Loreena McKennitt « The Mask and Mirror - 30th Anniversary Tour »

Award-winning composer and singer Loreena McKennitt, from Canada, will return to French-speaking Switzerland on March 25, 2027, at the Théâtre de Beaulieu, three years after her last appearance in Geneva. Following her last performance in 2024 at the Théâtre du Léman in Geneva, Loreena McKennitt will return to French-speaking Switzerland in spring 2027. This time, the Canadian artist will perform in Lausanne at the Théâtre de Beaulieu, for a new meeting with her audience. A leading figure of the "eclectic Celtic" scene, Loreena McKennitt has, over the decades, established a distinctive musical universe that blends Celtic influences, folk, pop, and Middle Eastern and Mediterranean sounds. Her music, acclaimed by critics internationally, has won a wide audience, with more than 16 million albums sold in over 40 countries and numerous gold, platinum, and multi-platinum certifications. Over the course of her career, she has received several awards, notably two Juno Awards and nominations for the Grammy Awards. She was also inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2023, and then into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2025. An independent artist, she founded her own label, Quinlan Road, in 1985, and she still runs it today. Alongside her musical career, she is also known for concrete philanthropic commitment, notably through the creation of the Cook-Rees Memorial Fund for Water Search and Safety, dedicated to water safety, as well as the Falstaff Family Centre, a support centre for families and children in Ontario. Her concert on March 25, 2027, at the Théâtre de Beaulieu will offer audiences a new opportunity to discover on stage an artist with a rich and timeless universe, in a setting suited to the delicacy and intimacy of her repertoire.
