Veljanov (Deine Lakaien)

Alexander Veljanov is the unmistakable voice of 'Deine Lakaien'. For almost four decades, they have shaped the national and international music scene, balancing between avant-garde and dark wave. Since 1998, Veljanov has also been pursuing a solo path, characterised by a new and distinctive sound. His poetic charm and the captivating presence of his voice remain, underpinned by lyrics about love, devotion and transience. With his three very different studio albums, the frontman repeatedly shows that he cannot be pinned down musically, and he also uses this project as a playground for his voice and for a musical expression beyond the Lakaien universe.
